Mary Shirley (Cornish) Partlow's Obituary
Mary Shirley (Cornish) Partlow, 96, of Mattydale, passed away December 29, 2022 at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Ogdensburg, NY, daughter of the late Harold and Eveline (Graveline) Cornish. Mary worked at Catholic Charities in Syracuse as a House Mother for many dedicated years. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, and loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence E. Partlow, Sr. in 2015 and seven siblings.
She is survived by her son, Lawrence E. Partlow, Jr. (Deborah J. Partlow); two grandsons, Lawrence E. Partlow III (Loriann Partlow) and Robert M. Partlow (Ashley Egnoto); three great-grandchildren, Lawrence E. Partlow IV, Emersyn Partlow and Connor A. Partlow; her sister, Joanne Morrison, along with many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Mary’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at St. Margaret’s Church, 200 Roxboro Rd., Mattydale, NY, with burial to follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Warners, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities of Onondaga County, 1654 West Onondaga St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
