Mary Grace (Pascarella) Daley's Obituary
Mary Grace (Pascarella) Daley, 74, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born on August 8, 1951, in Cervino, Province of Caserta, Italy, to Antonio and Pasqualina Pascarella. She came to the United States as a young child and grew up in Syracuse, where she graduated from Assumption High School.
Mary was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. She will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and love of simple pleasures, especially watching her favorite game shows, making trips to the casino, and taking cruises to see new places. Her generous spirit and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She married the love of her life, Peter J. Daley, and together they shared 52 wonderful years of marriage. Mary’s greatest joy was her family; her three daughters, Toni Ann (Richard) Walsh, Lisa (Juan) Vazquez, and Heather (Sean) Saxton; and her cherished grandchildren, Madelyn Walsh and Liza Vazquez. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Michelle “Mikki” (Carmen) D’Addio, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A funeral Mass in celebration of Mary Grace’s life will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Rose of Lima Church, 409 S. Main St., North Syracuse, burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will take place on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) Syracuse, NY 13212.
Contributions in Mary’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a cause close to her heart.
