Mary Dawn Ponce Ramos' Obituary
Mary Dawn Ponce Ramos, 48, of N. Syracuse, passed away January 4, 2024. She was born in Truk Atoll, Micronesia, daughter of the late Meliton Ladores and Ofelia Ponce Ramos. Dawn graduated from Mt. Carmel School in Saipan, Kalamazoo College in Michigan, and received her master’s degree from Emerson College in Boston. She worked as a senior biller for Barclay Damon. Dawn enjoyed reading, loved traveling, and trying new foods; she was a “Foodie.”
In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Alejandra (Basilio) and Timoteo Ponce.
Dawn is survived by her partner, Timothy Diehl; her brother, Mitchell Ponce Ramos; her sister, Hazel Ramos Hart; a niece, Abigail Marie Hart; nephews, Brian Patrick Hart, Jr., Jonathan Vachon, Ethan Benton-Diehl, and Stephen Gibson, along with Brian Hart, Sr., Aida Ponce, Myrna Tumaneng, Tim Ponce, Linda and Alan Plourde, Stephen Diehl, Mary Gibson, Kristen Diehl, Sutida Sukkrasae, Jan Marie Diaz and Droo Kaneko.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
