Mary A. (Nocchiero) DePalma's Obituary
Mary A. (Nocchiero) DePalma, 92, of Liverpool, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018. She was born in Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late Nicholas and Caroline (Belucci) Nocchiero.
Mary was employed by Gaylord Brothers for 25 years. She was a member of the Salina Seniors. Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother; her family was her cherished possession.
She was predeceased by her husband, James DePalma, Sr. in 2016; her brother, Anthony Nocchiero, and sister, Theresa Nocchiero.
Mary is survived by her son, James DePalma, Jr.; her daughter, Carol (Timothy) Pike; three grandchildren, Justin (Kara) Pike, Michael Pike and Caroline (Kyle) Harmer; her sister, Lena Clark, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses of the 9th floor at Upstate Neurology, also Sherry, Shannon and Sarah, the aids that kindly and lovingly helped with her care.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 am on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Mary’s life at 9:30 am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
