Mary "Maryu" (Sacco) DiBello's Obituary
Mary “Maryu” (Sacco) DiBello, 98, of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Bishop Nursing Home. She was born in Syracuse to the late Pasquale and Antoinette Sacco and graduated from North High School. Mary was known for her volunteer work, namely for the Onondaga County Health Association Auxiliary and the Rabies Vaccination Clinic. When she wasn’t giving back to her community, Mary loved to sew, knit, cook and bake, however her greatest joy will always be spending time with her grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Mary is predeceased by her husband, Leonard; daughter-in-law, Anne (Meola) DiBello; brother, Joseph Sacco and sister, Catherine (Sacco) Sposato.
She is survived by her son, Joseph DiBello, Sr.; grandsons, Joseph (Alexandria) DiBello, Jr. and Patrick DiBello; great-granddaughter, Charlotte DiBello; a sister, Anna (Sacco) Grenga; along with several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services entrusted to the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME.
