Mary A. (Cantello) Galli's Obituary
Mary A. (Cantello) Galli, 97, of Solvay, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. She was born in Niles, Ohio, daughter of the late Angelo and Louise (Bessoi) Cantello. Mary worked as a machine operator at General Electric for many years. She loved cooking and baking for family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Galli; her son, Anthony Galli; great-grandson, Jeff Anthony; six sisters and four brothers.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Laura (Thomas) Grandinetti of Solvay; daughter-in-law, Diane Galli; four grandchildren, Michaelline Grandinetti, Kim Wright (Richard), John Galli (Krissy) and Toni Galli (Walter); eight great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 am on Thursday, January 3, 2018 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Mary’s life at 9:30 am in St. Cecilia Church, Solvay. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
