Mary LaBella's Obituary
Mary LaBella, 57, beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 14, 2025.
A former hairstylist with a creative soul, Mary had a deep appreciation for beauty — whether through her sketching and drawing, her love of classic films, or her special bond with animals. She inherited her artistic spirit from her father and carried it with her throughout her life. Mary had a big heart and will be remembered for her gentle nature and quiet generosity.
She was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence LaBella, Sr. and Rosemarie LaBella.
She is survived by her loving brother, Larry (Sharon) LaBella, her devoted sister, Dody (Scott) Fullex, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will hold her memory close. She is also survived by her aunt and uncle, Linda LaBella Morgan and Scott Morgan, and will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, 3127 James Street, Syracuse, NY, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Rite of Committal at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum, 800 Grant Blvd., Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s memory to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or the CNY SPCA, 5878 East Molloy Rd, Syracuse, NY 13211.
