Mary Pizzi's Obituary
Mary Pizzi, 92, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late James and Filomena Detran. Mary was an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing at Arrowhead Golf Course.
Along with her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband, Carmen; sister, Connie Darminio; brothers, John, Albert, and Frank Detran.
Mary is survived by her sons, David (Beverly) Pizzi, John (Jaye) Pizzi; a daughter, Donna (Jeffrey) Brooks; 6 grandchildren, Katie Mannise, Daniel Pizzi, Laura Plumb, Mary Brooks, Jordan Pizzi, and Jake Pizzi; 3 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
Per the family’s request, funeral services will be private. Mary will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Carmen, in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum, Syracuse. Funeral arrangements entrusted to THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME.
