Mary A. (Podolak) Kesel's Obituary
Mary A. (Podolak) Kesel, 89, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Kruszewska) Podolak. Mary retired after 30 dedicated years with General Electric. She was a member of Bishop Curley Columbiettes.
Besides her parents, she is also predeceased by her husband, Robert D. Kesel in 1989; her son, Robert M. Kesel in 2016; siblings, Michael, Edward, Charles, Stanley, Theodore and George Podolak, Wanda Paparo and Irene Nardozzi.
Mary is survived by two daughters, Debbi (Cos) Caronna and Lisa Kesel; six grandchildren, Kimberlie Owen (Thomas), Ryan Kesel, Timothy Caronna, Casey Cone (Jason), Kellie Ables (Justin), and Stacie Caronna; five great-grandchildren, Kate, Anna, and Nathan Owen, Finley Ables, and Quinn Cone; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, February 16, 2018 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Mary’s life at 12 pm (noon) in St. Rose of Lima Church. Family and friends may call from 9-11 am on Friday at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse.
