Mary C. Rotella's Obituary
Mary C. “Nina” Rotella, 86, of Liverpool, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Iroquois Nursing Home. She was born in Gimigliano, Italy to the late Antonio and Luigina (Paonessa) Rotella. Nina worked for 20 years for the North Syracuse School District at Bear Road Elementary. She enjoyed going to church and spending time with family and friends.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Domenick in 2017.
Nina is survived by her siblings, Dominick (Aurora) Rotella, Luigi (Irene) Rotella, Frank (Connie) Rotella, Joseph (Kathy) Rotella, Jerry (Stephanie) Rotella and Mary (Joe) Romeo; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to extend a particular thanks to the 4th Floor staff at Iroquois Nursing Home for their exceptional care and to special friends, LuAnne, Linda and Dale for their continued love and support.
A private funeral service in celebration of Nina’s life will take place at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery.
