Mary Frances Scudo's Obituary
Mary Frances Scudo, 89, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday at Crouse Hospital surrounded by her nieces and nephews. She was born in Syracuse on August 10, 1921 and was employed at the old Syracuse Transit as a transfer manager and retired from the Syracuse School District. Mary was a resident of James Square Nursing Home and was content and adored by the staff. Her life was devoted to her family and she was a very devout Catholic. Mary will be greatly missed. Mary is survived by her sister, Constance Christaldi of Liverpool; special caregivers, nephew, Arthur Greco; niece and nephew, Lois and Jim Christaldi; also many other nieces and nephews and special friends, Ben and Sheila Panyard of Florida. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 8:00 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY and 9:00 AM in St. John the Baptist Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM.
