Mary L. Spuches' Obituary
Mary L. (DeSantis) Spuches, 88, of North Syracuse, passed away on Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Syracuse and was employed with the North Syracuse Central Schools for 28 years and was an assistant food manager. Mary was a member of the Town of Cicero "Young at Heart" Community Center and the North Syracuse Seniors. She was also a member of the Senior Center at St. Rose of Lima Church. Mary was an avid card player. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Spuches in 2004 and her brother, Pasquale DeSantis. Mary is survived by her 3 daughters, Jaye Mastro of Tampa, FL., Maria (Terry) Clark of Las Vegas, NV and Patricia (Ed) Devaney of Jacksonville, FL; 2 sons, James (Donna) Spuches of North Syracuse and Joseph (Denise) Spuches of Tampa, FL; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 9 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse and 10 am in St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm.
