Mary Teresa (Margonelli) Squadrito's Obituary
Mary Teresa (Margonelli) Squadrito, 94, went to be with the lord on July 21, 2019. She was born in Cagliari, Sardinia on November 18, 1924, daughter of the late, Alessandro and Grazia (Mannari) Margonelli.
Mary and her husband, Dominick owned and operated Dominick’s Grocery on Pond St. for several years. She was also employed by St. Joseph’s Hospital in the nutritional services department. Mary loved the Lord, and enjoyed being with her Christian friends at the Church of God on Buckley Rd. Mary’s great joy was raising her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dominick in 1973, daughter, Frances, and son Alex.
Mary is survived by her children, Grace Colella, Frank (Linda), Carmella, Josie Pascale and Dominick (Tammy); 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
A private entombment was held for immediate family at Assumption Cemetery.
