MaryAnn (Procopio) LaBeff 's Obituary
MaryAnn (Procopio) LaBeff, 60, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 24, 2019. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Anthony and Grace (Caruso) Procopio. She enjoyed baking and loved making cookies for everyone. She was an avid SU sports fan as well. MaryAnn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who above all enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Terry E. LaBeff, Sr.; two sons, Terry (Karen) LaBeff, Jr. and Matthew (Chastity) LaBeff; her daughter, Graceann LaBeff; four grandchildren, Zoe, Sean, Carson, and Evelyn; two sisters, Jeanette (Louis) Tancredi and Kathleen Grace; three brothers, Peter (Colleen) Procopio, Angelo Procopio and Anthony (Julie) Procopio, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank Dr. Siva, Dr. Shapiro and their staff, especially Anna and the many nurses on the oncology floor at Upstate University Hospital for their dedication to MaryAnn.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of MaryAnn’s life at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Monday, April 29, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
