MaryAnne (Burns) Pagano's Obituary
MaryAnne (Burns) Pagano, 72, of Syracuse, received her Angel wings, surrounded by her loving family at Upstate University Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late, Joseph and Mina Burns. MaryAnne is also predeceased by her brother, Daniel Burns.
MaryAnne is survived by her husband of 44 years, Frank Pagano; six children, Rodney Pagano, Christine (Kathy) Pagano, Jennifer (Brian) De Carlo, Lisa (Stephen) Ryan, Henry Joseph (Veronica) Pagano all of Syracuse, Andrew (Jennifer) Pagano of Long Island; seven
grandchildren, Rodney, Samantha, Anthony, Aaron, Daniel, Francesco, Mea; her in laws, Henry and Esther Pagano of Syracuse; two brothers, Timothy Burns, Jerome (Cathy) Burns, both from Syracuse; two sisters, Teresa (David) Arnold of Syracuse, and Patricia Clarke of Baldwinsville;
along with four sister and brother in laws; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
MaryAnne was actively involved in Lyncourt School PTO, school store and was a Girl Scout cookie mom for many years. As a devout Catholic, she was an adorer for St. Daniel’s Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel. In her spare time she loved gardening, caring for her grandchildren and traveling to New York. She always made time to listen to your troubles over a cup of coffee, her love and devotion for her family and friends was endless.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of MaryAnne’s life at 12:10 p.m. at St. Daniel’s Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dewitt. Family and
friends may call from 4 - 7 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2019 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Road (Corner of Buckley Road) North Syracuse, New York.
Contributions can be made to St. Daniel’s Church Fund in MaryAnne’s name.
