Mary Lou Tornatore's Obituary
Mary Lou Tornatore, 83, of Fayetteville, New York, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 18, 1929 to Robert and Eileen McMahon.
She married Samuel Tornatore and settled in Fayetteville, where she remained for 50 years, together they raised seven children.
Mary Lou was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. She enjoyed golfing with her friends at Lakeshore Yacht and Country Club.
Mary Lou found true happiness in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Mary Lou was a selfless person who loved unconditionally and without limits. She found joy being with her family and friends and always found humor in any situation.
She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Tornatore; her parents and her beloved sister, Jeanne Jones. Mary Lou is survived by her children, John (Barbara), Samuel Jr., Nancy (Chris) Heath, Thomas, Theresa, Gina and Sally (William) Stocum; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, Robert McMahon and many loving relatives and friends.
To honor her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Friday at Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville. A private burial will immediately follow.
