Mason Henry Doran's Obituary
Mason Henry Doran, 26, of Liverpool, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
Born on February 19, 1999, in Virginia Beach, VA., Mason was the son of Colleen Doran and John Doran. He was a caring, sweet, kind and devoted young man who always had his family and friends’ best interest at heart. Mason loved his precious dog, Samantha. Poor Sammy Girl passed away a week before Mason. He loved skateboarding and his BMX bike; they were his passion. He was a thrill seeker, the ultimate master at both. Mason had a wonderful smile and an infectious laugh. His laugh made you smile. His older brother Bryan, and his friends were his lifeline. They were so important to him, even though he may not have said it. His mother was his rock for many things in his life. She wanted the very best for Mason and tried hard to make this happen.
Mason is predeceased in death by his Grandfather, Robert Durkin, and his Grandparents, Henry and Ernestine Doran.
He is survived by his loving mother, Colleen Durkin Doran, his father, John Doran, his brother, Bryan, and half-sisters, Gina Doran and Bridget Doran Butcher and his “brother” Ethan, as well as his Grandparents, Margaret and David Butters and many aunts, uncles, cousins and his “crew” of wonderful friends. In addition, Tracy Lloyd, who is a caring, loving, and wonderful person who stepped in when Mason needed her.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 4 to 6pm at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd., (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY 13212.
