Matthew P. Milazzo Jr.'s Obituary
Matthew P. Milazzo, Jr. 58, formerly of Liverpool, NY, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 15, 2024 at his home in Barre, VT. He was born and raised in Liverpool, the son of the late Matthew P. Milazzo and Gloria E. (Douglas) Milazzo. While in Liverpool, Matthew worked as an HVAC technician for many years. Matthew went on to work as head of maintenance at a hotel in Barre, Vermont.
Along with his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Joseph Campione in 2015.
Matthew is survived by Theresa Mellone; his sons, Matthew Milazzo Jr., Josh Amidon, and Jeremy Amidon; his stepchildren, Jennifer Mellone-Hoffmier, Jason Mellone, and Jamie Mellone; his brothers, Kirk (Tammy) Milazzo and Thomas (Barbara) Milazzo; along with many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., Noon, followed by a funeral service in celebration of Matthew’s life at 12:00 P.M., Noon, on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. He will be laid to rest privately alongside his parents in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made in Matthew’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
