Megan Elizabeth Latuga's Obituary
Megan Elizabeth Latuga, 40, left behind a legacy of passion, dedication, and boundless love when she passed away peacefully Saturday Oct. 7, 2023, at her home in Fort Worth, Texas. Megan was the dear daughter of Michael Latuga and Deborah Copp, born January 25, 1983, in Syracuse, New York.
Megan graduated from Arizona State University in 2007, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Megan’s most recent career path led her to Allstate insurance, where she began in 2021.
Megan’s true passion, however, was ensuring the less fortunate were supported. She showed this through compassion and drive when she began her career with Texas Child Protective Services in 2013.
Megan helped guide numerous families through difficult times. She was the force, these children needed in their lives. With her determination and love she forever changed the path of these young lives.
Her heart extended far beyond her professional career. She often would be found helping the homeless around the community in any way that she could. Megan showed no shortage of love and compassion to those in need. Megan was a pillar of strength for so many. This included her love for four-legged friends. Megan’s home was often a haven for them. She shared her unwavering love with her family of fur babies. First and foremost, her cat Angel, whom she shared her life of 20 years with. Her French Bulldog (Cora) and cat (Rona) were also blessed to feel the love she shared.
The earth will eternally be a better place for so many because she walked it.
Her kindness, love and selflessness will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Megan was preceded by her grandparents, Michael and Lillian Latuga, Benjamin and Joanne Lawrence, William Copp and Ann Copp and her Aunt, Lori Lawrence.
