Melody Y. Mastrobattista (Doney)'s Obituary
Melody Y. Mastrobattista (Doney), 64, of Cicero, NY, gained her angel wings on January 30, 2024. She was born on January 13, 1960, in Watertown, NY.
Melody was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She adored reading suspense novels, completing crossword puzzles, watching horror movies, cooking, and especially baking. Her sassy humor was legendary, but her greatest love was her family. She welcomed all into her home with open arms.
Melody formerly enjoyed serving customers at Nino’s Bakery, managing several restaurants, and assisting the elderly as a nurse's aide at James Square Nursing Home.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ennio; daughter, Gina; parents, John E. Doney, Jr. and Martha A. Doney.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Mastrobattista; daughter, Ann Marie (James) Kulakowski; son, John (Jessica) Mastrobattista; grandchildren, Xander, Jocelyn, and Jackson Mastrobattista; siblings, Mark, Brad (Judy), Timothy, Lisa Doney and Michelle Galvin; along with many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 4 - 6 pm at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 11am at the funeral home, followed by entombment at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
