Michael P. Bittner's Obituary
Michael P. Bittner, 53, of Cicero, passed away after a courageous battle on Saturday with his loving family and friends by his side. He was born in Syracuse and graduated from Cicero High School. Michael was a District Supervisor with Carrols Corporation for 36 years. Although playing golf was his passion, he was a lover of all sports including SU football and basketball. Michael lived every day to the fullest and continuously exceeded his family's expectations with beautiful surprise vacations. He was a loving husband to Marlene for 26 years and loved spending time with his son and daughter, whom he was extremely proud of. Michael always made sure his children and family were taken care of.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Eleanor Bittner. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Marlene (Roffo) Bittner; his cherished son, John R. Bittner of Cicero; his beloved daughter, Mariesa N. Bittner of Cicero; his brother, Robert J. (Deborah) Bittner of Florida; mother in law Angeline Roffo; two nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:00am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00am in Sacred Heart Church, Cicero, where a funeral mass will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
