Michael A. "Mickey" Caiello's Obituary
Michael A. “Mickey” Caiello, 82, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2023. He was born and raised on the North side of Syracuse by the late Michael and Theresa (Caselle) Caiello. Mickey was a graduate of North High School, he worked at Darling Ice Cream, Centro Bus, where he retired from and Pirro Funeral Home for over 30 years. Mickey was an avid softball player and enjoyed winters in Florida. He loved spending time with family and friends. Mickey was a devoted husband for 55 years, a loving father, and outstanding grandfather. He was an amazing man, and anyone who had the privilege to know him, will miss him deeply.
Mickey is survived by his wife Patricia “Patti” (Vescera) Caiello; his three daughters, Ann Marie Kessler, Michelle, and Teresa Caiello; his grandchildren, Samantha, and Michael (Sara) Dudley, Alexander Caiello, and Brittany (Roma) Kessler; his great grandchildren, Isabella Pasqualetti and Sandra Rogers; his sister Shirley (John) Delperuto; his nieces, Kristi Delperuto and Kimberly (Mike) Markinson.
Calling hours will take place from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. A funeral Mass in celebration of Mickey’s life will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the St. Rose Of Lima Church North Syracuse. A burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery.
