I remember first meeting Mickey when Norm Jennings first brought him to a TTA (our golf group) outing. Little did I know that day that Mick would become one of my best and most trusted friends, but also a most significant member of the TTA.
So many golf and Vegas trips and so many memories. I will sorely miss him.
I loved the fact that he started each round of golf with "What a beautiful day! And Mick, because of you it sure was.

We are so grateful for the wonderful memories that Mr Ferris brought to our family over the years. Even as little kids stopping by the shoe store, he would always be engaging and asking how we're doing, letting us come in the back to "help" repair a shoe. As I got older, he make sure I had a place to work while visiting (making sure I was overly fed as well) and then at my brothers wedding, our son had a reaction to peanuts and at 1 in the morning he raced over in 5 minutes and drove us to the North Shore ambulance. He was that kind of person and so giving of himself to all. I feel like I lost an Uncle this week but look forward to seeing him again in the next one.

Dear Sue, Rusty, Gerry and Barbra Ann and kids. I am so sorry for your loss. Mike or Mickey as he was known on Bellevue Ave and I grew up four houses from each other. The Needham family and the Ferris family each had four kids about the same ages. Plus add in the Cox family, whose house was in between, had Ronny Chippy and Tommy about the same ages. We all played together. I bet if you went to the Cox house today you'd still see the base paths where all the kids played baseball. The older boys Bruce(my brother) and Rusty and Gerry taught the lounger kids how to play baseball and ride a bike.
I am sorry that I can't make it to the funeral today, but I will be there for the Memorial service in the summer. Lots of stories to tell and listen to. I loved viewing the first photo of the family. Did we actually wear our hair like that?

Dear Sue and Family: Mike was my partner and driver at North Shore for many years, and I remember fondly our rides to and from a call, especially the rides home. Mike had a great sense of humor and his occasional sarcastic remarks still make me laugh. so sorry for your loss. we all lost a great guy.
