Michael E. Flynn's Obituary
Michael E. Flynn, 63, of Syracuse, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. He was born in Tupper Lake, NY, son of the late Wesley and Joyce (Cogbill) Flynn. Michael served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He was employed with Syracuse University for over 20 years.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Wesley and Paul Flynn, and his sister, Joyce.
Michael is survived by his wife of 40 years, Diane (Willsey) Flynn; his daughter, Melissa Flynn (Matthew Kadlubowski) of Syracuse; step-daughter, Laura (Scott) Allen-Carone of Ohio, two grandchildren, Joshua and Matthew Carone; one brother, David (Linda) Flynn of Camden, NY; three sisters, Jane (James) Palmteer of Syracuse, Eunice Mountzouros of NJ, and Dorothy Vincent of Florida, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services and burial will be held in the spring. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME.
