Michael Formikell, 69, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Upstate University Hospital with his loving wife and daughter by his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert, and Jessie (Mackay) Read Obituary
I just learned of Mike's passing and we are deeply sorrowed. Mike and I learned MRI during it's infancy we had so much fun along the way, golfing and enjoying whatever came our way. Our deepest condolences' to Mary and the Family

It has saddened us to hear about Mike’s passing. We would like to express our deepest condolences and sympathy to you and the family. Patrick and I enjoyed working with you and Mike at Upstate. Mary you and Mike taught me so much when I was hired by Joe right out of college. I will never forgot how you both mentored me in both CT and MRI. Mike always had a smile on his face that no matter how the day was going. Please know I am praying for you and the family during this difficult time and it was a pleasure to work with the both of you.

All of the Moro family (Joe Moro's sons Mark, Mike and Matt) extend our sincere condolences on Mike's passing. While we did not know Mike personally, our father often spoke very highly of Mike, and in such a kind and caring way that we all knew that Joe held a very special place in heart for Mike; as both a colleague and friend.
We very much appreciated seeing Mike and Mary at Joe's funeral a few years ago. That meant a lot to us.
Hopefully Mike and Joe are able to see each other again and renew their friendship in the afterlife.
