Michael C. Lagerman's Obituary
Michael Conrad Lagerman, 82, passed away on July 16, 2026 after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease, a battle he faced with grace and quiet strength.
Born and raised in Rockford, IL, Mike was predeceased by his parents, Eric and Marie Lagerman. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary; children, Nils Lagerman, Brent (Teresa) Lagerman, James (Margaret) Cornelius, Elizabeth (Michael) Pearson, Kresten Lagerman, and Ryka (Will) Lovis; fifteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Robert (Diane) Lagerman; brother-in-law, David (Connie) D’Accurzio, and several nieces and nephews.
Mike touched many lives during his years as a Lutheran minister, working in the medical field, and after retirement volunteering with organizations fighting hunger and food insecurity. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, he will be sorely missed.
Per Mike’s request there will be no funeral services.
Donations in his memory may be made to Hospice of CNY and the Finger Lakes or Food Bank of Central New York.
