Michael L. "Mike" Lee's Obituary
Michael L “Mike” Lee, 55, of Central Square, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.
Mike was born on September 11, 1969, in Watertown, NY, to the late Loren and Marilyn (Halladay) Lee. Mike was a 1987 graduate of Beaver River Central School. Mike excelled in the BOCES electrical program which led to his long career as an electrician.
Mike thoroughly enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and 4 wheeling with his family and friends at his shared hunting camp “Pollock Swamp” located in Big Moose, NY.
In 2003, Mike started his own successful electrical contracting business, LEC, Inc. (Lee Electrical Contracting). In 2014, Mike became a Master Electrician for the City of Syracuse, NY.
Mike was a kind, fair and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was also well respected by many in the community and the construction trade. Mike was dearly loved by everyone. He was a compassionate, loving, honest, selfless and a man of integrity. He will be forever missed. We love you Mike so much. Wish you didn’t have to leave us so soon, but God had other plans for you. When it snows, we will all think of you and remember how much you loved the first snowfall of the year no matter how little.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Kristine (Reid) Lee; children, Madison Lee of Central Square NY, Emma Lee of Central Square NY, Kendra Lee of West Monroe NY and Harold Lee of Rome NY; two granddaughters, Kylie and Aubreigh; siblings, Robbin (Pat) Brown of New Bremen NY, Kelly (Doug) O’Connor of Carthage NY, along with several nieces and nephews and extended family.
Special Appreciation goes to Mike’s children (young adults) for all their above and beyond help, Emma, Madison, Kendra and Harold. Mike’s In-laws, Jennifer and Doug Burnett and Katie and Doug Williams, and every family member that checked in constantly and took the time to do frequent visits and brought food to help feed Mike’s family.
Calling hours will be from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd, (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY 13212.
A graveside service will be at 12:30 pm on Friday, November 22, 2024 at St. Mary’s Cemetery located at 4100 East Genesee Street, DeWitt, NY 13244.
Alternate option to the cemetery, take Randall Road down the street from Christian Brothers Academy.
