Michael V. Marsella's Obituary
Michael V. Marsella, 25, of Liverpool, NY passed away Monday, June 8, 2015. He was born in Syracuse and graduated from LeMoyne College in 2013 with a BS Degree in Finance. He was in the Investment Club, Business Club and played Intramural Basketball. He graduated from Liverpool High School in 2008, where he played varsity basketball for 4 years and was in the Varsity Club. Michael was a sales associate with T-Mobile. In addition to basketball, he enjoyed fishing, hiking, and golf. Michael was a wonderful son and brother; he was very caring and compassionate. He had a great love of animals and cared about many social issues. His 6’6” stature and dynamic smile would light up any room. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Michael was predeceased by his father, Samuel D. Marsella; his paternal grandfather, Daniel D. Marsella and his maternal grandmother, Jane E. Malkoske.
Michael is survived by his mother, Mary G. (Malkoske) Marsella of Liverpool; his brother, Daniel J. Marsella of Liverpool; paternal grandmother, Geraldine Marsella of Liverpool; maternal grandfather, John W. Malkoske of Syracuse; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Calling hours for family and friends will be held from 10 am – noon on Monday, June 15, 2015, at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
