Michael A. Mastrangelo's Obituary
Michael A. Mastrangelo, 77, of Liverpool, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Castiglione Messer Marino, Italy to Cipriano and Clara Mastrangelo, and raised in Pescara, Italy. Michael came to the United States in 1957 and retired from Fleischman’s Furniture after 30 years of service. After retirement, he did upholstering and was a driver for Pirro Funeral Home. Michael was a loving, caring, and devoted family man who will be truly missed but will live forever in our hearts.
He was predeceased by his parents, and his sister, Concetta Palucci of Italy.
Michael is survived by his wife of 50 years, Frances “Chichi” (Capozzi) Mastrangelo; his two daughters, Frances Ann (Anthony) Mavica and Michelle (Fabian) Musuraca; two grandchildren, Francesca and Anthony Mavica who he cherished; his sister-in-law, Karen Capozzi, and many relatives in Italy.
A private funeral service was held at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Entombment was in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum.
