Michael P. Oropallo, Jr.'s Obituary
Michael P. Oropallo, Jr., 58, of Clay, passed away Thursday at the Francis House. He was born in New Jersey and was a graduate of Liverpool High School. Michael was self-employed in the service industry for many years. He was a lover of cars and an avid Harley rider who enjoyed many bike rally's and loved going on vacation.
He was predeceased by his father, Michael P. Oropallo, Sr. in 1985. Michael is survived by his wife, Kathy (Warner) Oropallo; two daughters, Nicole (Patrick) Owens of North Syracuse and Alaina Oropallo of North Carolina; two step-sons, Nathan Mezatesta and Nicholas Mezatesta, both of North Syracuse; his mother, Ann (King) Oropallo of Liverpool; a brother, Philip (Bonnie) Oropallo of Liverpool; a sister, Carol (Martin) Alexander of Ohio along with many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass in celebration of Michael's life will be held on Monday at 12:00 pm in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash Street, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Francis House, 108 Michael's Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13208.
