Michael P. Recchie's Obituary
Michael P. Recchie, 56, of Phoenix, NY passed away on Saturday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Syracuse, he was a communicant of St. John's Church, Soule Rd. Michael was formerly employed with Moog Automotive and CarQuest. He was an avid boater, woodworker and a collector of specialized antique currency. Michael was a loving and adoring husband, father and grandfather. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Recchie. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Ann E. (Utz) Recchie; daughters, Jennifer L. (Sean) Foody of Orlando, FL and Kara K. Recchie of North Syracuse; grandson, Chase Michael Recchie; brother, Peter (Sue) Recchie of Cicero, sister, Kathy (Dennis) Hayes of Liverpool; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 10:30 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY and 11:30 AM in St. John's Church, Soule Rd. Burial will be private. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM. Contributions in Michael's memory may be made to a cancer research fund of one's choice to help defeat this disease.
