I'm sure I'm not alone in saying conversations with Mike were always a warm, fun, generous, and congenial experience. Five minutes into talking with him, I often thought, "Hey! Did my powers of conversation just jump to the next level?" Later, of course, when Mike's magic had worn off, I realized that it was because i was *speaking to* the most skilled conversationalist I will probably ever meet!
I feel most fortunate to have had those conversations with.Mike. They will live with me forever.
Thank you Mike, for always being such a wonderful, charming man who was so generous with your time that you spent with me. My life will forever be better to have known you. I will miss you.
Annemarie, having seen you at the World Marriage Day Mass at the Cathedral on February 10, I was stunned to read that your husband died a few days later. Please accept my sincere condolences and know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mike Trait was one of the nicest men I ever met. His smile, his kind words and his helping hand will always be apart of my memories.
So many special memories through the CNS lacrosse years with our girls. Always a smile and a kind word to give our team encouragement. Mike will be missed for all the joy he shared with so many folks.
