Michaela (Lyons) Weslowski's Obituary
Michaela (Lyons) Weslowski, 68, of North Syracuse, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born in Utica, NY, daughter of the late Michael and Rita (Allen) Lyons. Michaela retired from O & R Lawrence Company in 1995 and then worked as a gift shop clerk at the Marriot on Carrier Circle for several years. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, bird watching and taking care of her pets. Michaela was also a fan and supporter of the USA Olympics.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Edward P. Weslowski in 2015 and her infant son, Mark.
Michaela is survived by her son, Todd Weslowski of Mattydale; her daughter, Andrea Calcagino of Myrtle Beach; her sister, Marie Taskey of Cleveland, NY; her brother, Michael Lyons of Mountain Home, ID; her granddaughter, Nicole Mattison; two great-grandchildren, Natalie and Nathan Mattison; many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, March 11, 2016, followed by a funeral service in celebration of Michaela's life at 7:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
