Michele Cioffi's Obituary
Michele Cioffi, 79, of Liverpool, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in Italy. He was a native of Cervinara, Italy and came to the United States in 1972. Michele was employed with Crouse Hinds until his retirement at the age of 65. He had a passion for gardening and was a very simple and hardworking man who always put his family first.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Francesca (Gallo) Cioffi and his brother Antonio. Michele is survived by his two children, Pietro (Anna) Cioffi of Italy and Filomena Esposito of Liverpool; seven grandchildren, five brothers, Giuseppe Cioffi of Lakeland, Franco, Mario, Armando and Salvatore, all of Canada; two sisters, Filomena and Yolanda of Canada along with many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass in celebration of Michele's life will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends are invited to attend a calling hour on Tuesday from 8:45 to 9:45 am at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church.
