Michelle M. (Bertrand) Brush's Obituary
Michelle M. (Bertrand) Brush, 49, of Camillus, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Syracuse and was a 1983 graduate of Henninger High School. Michelle earned a title of LPN and has worked as a nurse for over 30 years, most recently at Cardiology PC in Syracuse. Michelle was a very compassionate nurse, touching the lives of all she came in contact with. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs, "Gus" and "Lou", and especially loved spending time with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her mother, Sally L. (Revette) Bertrand and her two brothers, William H. Bertrand, Jr. and Timothy Bertrand. Michelle is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Robert J. Brush; her daughter, Jennifer (Christopher) Guiles; her grandson, Marshall Guiles; her father, William H (Jean) Bertrand; two sisters, Doreen (Luanne) Cua-Bertrand and Candie (Donald) Peake; two brothers, Michael Bertrand and Thomas (Melinda) Bertrand; two sisters-in-law, Toni Bertrand and Maxine Bertrand, her special godmother, Bonita Thomas, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service in celebration of Michelle's life will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME on Monday, April 7, 2014 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.
