Myrtle A. "Moody" (Siano) Proietta's Obituary
Myrtle A. “Moody” (Siano) Proietta, 96, of Liverpool, passed away May 12, 2026, at Sunnyside Care Center. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Michael and Lucille (Mercurio) Siano. Moody previously worked for N.Y. Telephone Co., Crucible Steele, and Triple AAA of Syracuse. She also volunteered at North Medical and enjoyed playing cards at the West Side Senior Center. Moody was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church and a member of The Dominican Monastery.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Angelo Proietta and her brother, Michael Siano.
Moody is survived by three children: Joseph (Mary) Proietta, Mary Jo (Stephen) Halpern, and Stephen (Rymma) Proietta; her grandson, Michael (Caitlyn) Proietta, and her great-grandson, Emerson Proietta.
Private funeral services entrusted to THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, DeWitt.
