Nancy Aloi's Obituary
Nancy Aloi, 91, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at James Square surrounded by her loving family on Friday April 10, 2015. Born in Syracuse she grew up on the north side where she and Joseph raised their family. Nancy enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her close family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked for GE as an assembler for 10 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Mary Catherine (Damico) Mignacca, her siblings; Phillip Mignacca, Mary Carulli and Paul Mignacca.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Joseph Aloi; her daughters Toni (Vincent) Corbacio of Syracuse, Mary (Dennis) Phillips of Syracuse, 6 grandchildren; Michael and Thomas Valerino, Lauren (Kevin) Ryan, Mark (Ashley) Corbacio, Lindsey and Jon Phillips; 7 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Carmella DeMauro of Syracuse, Virginia Albanese of Syracuse, along with several nieces, nephews.
Nancy’s family would like to thank the entire staff at James Square and the nurses and aides on floor 2 south, for their care and compassion.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on Tuesday April 14, 2015 at 8:00 A.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. and at 9:00 A.M. in St. Daniel Church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, N.Y.
