Natale "Neddi" Imbesi's Obituary
Natale “Neddi” Imbesi, 85, of Clay, NY, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2019 after a long illness.
Neddi was born in Rodi Milici, Sicily, served in the Italian Army, and immigrated to the United States in 1960. He opened Neddi’s Barbershop in 1966 and enjoyed many friendships until retiring last year. Neddi enjoyed socializing with friends and family, as well as gardening.
He was predeceased by his parents, Fortunato and Domenica Imbesi; siblings, Joseph Imbesi, Josephine Riccardi and Carmella Zanghi.
Natale is survived by his wife, Rosetta (Lombardi) Imbesi; children, Mimma (Ray) Kisor, Rosella (Ken) Burke and Fortunato (Joy) Imbesi; grandchildren, Michael (Sarah) Burke, Lauren Burke (Zach Campo), Kevin Burke, Jasmin Imbesi, and RJ Ceravolo; great-granddaughter, Ellie Burke; his brother, Tino (Phyllis) Imbesi and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Natale’s life at 11:00 am in Pope John XXIII Church, Soule Rd. Entombment will follow in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Monday, February 4, 2019 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
