Natalie (Romano) Campanile's Obituary
Natalie (Romano) Campanile, 89, of Skaneateles, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, March 22, 2014. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Joseph T. and Carmela (Renazzi) Romano. Natalie was a communicant of Community Tabernacle in Fairmount and a recipient of the Onondaga County Medical Society Auxiliary Service Award in 1984. Natalie loved to play Bridge every Tuesday for over 20 years and played Tennis in her younger years. She also enjoyed meeting her cherished friends for coffee at Creekside Books and Coffee every Friday. But most of all, Natalie looked forward to spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; three sisters, Rose Lombardo, Helen Pirro and Catherine Tarolli; three brothers, John Romano, Joseph Romano and Anthony "Chappy" Romano and her nephew, Joey Romano. Natalie is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Dr. Emanuel Campanile; her son, Dr. David (Jennifer) Campanile of Skaneateles; three grandchildren, Alexa, Gianna and Mia Campanile; two sisters, Mary Romano of Solvay and Lucy DeLuca of Camillus, her sister-in-law, Adelina "Bonnie" Romano of Camillus, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
