Natalie Victoria (Viti) Filicia's Obituary
Natalie Victoria (Viti) Filicia, 88, of Syracuse, passed away April 23, 2024, at Loretto Nursing Home. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Carmela and Dominick Viti. Natalie attended Vocational High School, graduated and was a homemaker for many years. Later she had a career as secretary for the Town of Clay and the Village of North Syracuse. She enjoyed hosting family holidays with her immediate and extended families. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking and her two dogs, Niko and Jack, who gave her great joy and companionship in her later years.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her daughter, Patti Blaich and son-in-law, James Blaich.
Natalie is survived by four children, Michelle (Lawrence J.) Stirpe, Maxine (Brian) Lang, James (Jaimie) Felicia and Dana (Pam) Filicia; grandchildren, Kristin (Michael), Lawrence P. (Monica), Morgan (Brendan), Jason, Ali (Tim), Jessica (C.J.), Kevin, Stephanie (Aaron), Gracie (Garrett), Cassandra, Isabella and Alexia; 12 great grandchildren; her sister, MaryJane (William) Balduzzi; her brother, Norman Viti, along with many nieces and nephews.
Her children are comforted knowing she is finally at peace and will be reunited with her daughter in heaven.
We would like to extend many thanks to everyone who cared for Natalie during her stay at Brookdale Assisted Living, The Hearth on James and Loretto Cunningham.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY, immediately followed by a funeral service to celebrate Natalie’s life. Private burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
