Neil W. Ford's Obituary
Neil W. Ford, 58, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, November 2, 2018 surrounded by his wife and children. He graduated from Brewer High School, Brewer, ME where he was an avid athlete and he continued his love for baseball by playing in college at Husson College, and also playing for the semi pro team the Waterville Red Sox. He retired from Target Corporation after 12 years of service. Neil always looked forward to the golf outings in the Adirondacks and Point Sebago, ME with his buddies, he also enjoyed poker nights with the boys, and watching the Red Sox win another world series. He mostly loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his father, Leonard Ford III; his mother, Beverly (Goff): his dad, Arthur Treadwell, and his brother, Joel Ford.
Neil is survived by his loving wife Judy A. (Martino) Ford; three children, Nicholas Ford (Stephanie Azocar), Kristin Ford and Michael (Susan) Ford; four grandchildren, Sawyer, Hadley, Elijah and Benny; four brothers, Sam (Jackie) Ford, Steve (Cathy) Ford, Jason (Vicki) Treadwell and Jimmy Treadwell; several nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends, Pat and Terri, Mark and Linda, Jim and Eileen.
Neil’s family would like to thank Dr. Cherny and the entire staff at Hematology-Oncology and to the LVAD staff at Cleveland Clinic for their support throughout his illness.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Neil’s life at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church of Cicero. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
