Nicholas Capozzi's Obituary
Nicholas Capozzi, 72, of The Villages, FL, formerly of Syracuse, NY, passed away March 1, 2026, in Leesburg, Florida. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Phillip and Rita (Angeloro) Capozzi and graduated from Henninger High School. Nick was the former owner and operator of Lyndon Golf Course. He enjoyed golfing, traveling to Disney and spending time with his children.
Nick is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Janice A. (Fabbri) Capozzi; his daughter, Michelle Capozzi and fiancé, Nick Kozma; his son, Nicholas (Julia) Capozzi; and his brother, Dr. Phillip Capozzi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY, followed by a funeral Mass in celebration of Nick’s life at 12:30 P.M. in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY. He will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery.
