Nicholas J. Mastry, Jr.'s Obituary
Nicholas J. Mastry, Jr., 91, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Monday at Iroquois Nursing Home. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Angeline (Bovee) and Nicholas J. Mastry, Sr. Nicholas was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He retired from Learbury after over 50 years of service. Nicholas was an avid sports fan.
He was predeceased by his wife, Nicolina (Lampasona) Mastry in 2005 and eight siblings.
Nicholas is survived by his son, Nicholas J. (Nancy) Mastry III of Virginia; his daughter, Angela (August) Pennacchia of Liverpool; five grandchildren, Melissa (Brian) Lewis, Leah (Charles) Blakeman, Sarah (Paul) Cavaliere, Christopher Mastry and Nicole (Kirk) Truslow; eight great-grandchildren, Mariah, Christian, Owen, Grace, Mason, Ethan, Emma and Brayden; sister-in-law, Joan Mastry, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, July 29, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Nicholas’ life at 10:00 am in St. Joseph the Worker Church, Liverpool. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
