Nicholas R. "Nick" Muraca's Obituary
Nicholas R. “Nick” Muraca, 26, of East Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, June 5, 2015. He was born in Syracuse and was a graduate of CBA. He was currently finishing a degree in marketing at Le Moyne College. Nick loved reading, playing chess, snowboarding; but his greatest passion was poker. Nick was a kind and gentle soul, always trusting and loyal. The outpouring of love and concern by so many would have filled his heart with joy. Nick was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Nick will live on in the memories and thoughts of all those who loved and cared for him.
Nick is survived by his parents, Ronald V. and Mary “Tina” (Arnold) Muraca; his sister, Alexandra C. Muraca of East Syracuse; several aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Nick’s life at Noon at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd.
