Nicholas Torio's Obituary
Nicholas Torio, 81, of North Syracuse, passed away Thursday at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse, the son of Vito and Angeline Torio. Nick was the owner and operator of Nick Torio's Carpet Cleaning for over 45 years. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nick is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Margaret (LePore) Torio; his son, Nick (Lee) Torio Jr. of Baldwinsville; two daughters, Linda (Robert) Facciponte of Manlius and Sheri Borio of Cicero; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a brother, Andrew Torio of Syracuse and a sister, Connie Picciotto of Baldwinsville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 8:30 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 am in Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
