Nick J. Testa's Obituary
Nick J. Testa,89, of Liverpool passed away Thursday at the VanDuyn Rehabilitation Center. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Nick had been a service technician with Niagara Mohawk for 35 years before retiring in l988 and was a member of their 25 Year Club and also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. The family would like to thank the staff at the 5 South Unit of Van Duyn for their wonderful care of Nick. Nick was pre-deceased by his brother Anthony and his sister Angelina. He is survived by 3 children: Lucille A. (Michael) Roche, of Syracuse. Vincent A. Testa, of Syracuse and Sandra A. (Steven) Wehner, of Syracuse, his sister Irene Carano, of Syracuse , a step-son Gary Seidenfuss, of East Syracuse grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of Nick’s Life will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. in the THOMAS J. PIRRO, JR.FUNERAL HOME and at 12:00 Noon , June 17, 2015 in Pope John XXIII Church on Soule Rd. Liverpool. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home 3401 Vickery Rd.(Corner of Buckley Rd.), North Syracuse, Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Contributions may be made to the Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave. Syracuse, NY or “Honor Flight” in care of the Onondaga County Veterans Administration.
