Nickolas R. Aragona's Obituary
Nickolas R. Aragona, 91, of Camillus, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday, August 14, 2023. He was born in Syracuse, to the late Louis and Carmella (Sposato) Aragona. Nickolas retired from Chrysler New Process Gear after 30 years and worked at Destiny USA for 20 years.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his 10 siblings.
Nickolas is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Joan (Graham) Aragona; 6 children, Anne Putman, Mary H. (Jim) Ascioti, Nicholas R. Aragona, Jr., Denise A. (Henry) Bartowski, James A. (Cathy) Aragona, and Joanne M. (Louis) Calabria; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A calling hour will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 9:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. in St. Patrick/St. Brigid Church, 216 North Lowell Avenue, Syracuse, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick/St. Brigid Church. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Mausoleum.
Contributions in Nickolas’ name can be made in lieu of flowers to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
