Nicoletta L. (DiMento) Scibilia's Obituary
Nicoletta L. (DiMento) Scibilia, 81, of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away Monday at Iroquois Nursing Home. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late James and Leabra (Lella) DiMento. She attended St. Anthony of Padua School. Nicoletta was employed with AGWAY and Key Bank. She was a longtime communicant of St. Michael’s Church on Onondaga Hill. Nicoletta was also a lifelong avid SU fan.
Nicoletta is survived by eight children; daughter, Michele Scibilia; sons, Michael, Mark, Matthew, Martin, Philip, Christopher, and Paul; two grandchildren, Joshua and Justin; four great-grandchildren, Olivia, Lucas, Mazy, and Sloane; two sisters, Rosemarie DiMento and Delores Harris; one brother, Louis DiMento; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, January 20, 2017 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Nicoletta’s life at 10:00 AM in Christ the King Church, Bayberry. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
