Ninetta "Nan" A. (Farsaci) Pollicino's Obituary
Ninetta Pollicino, passed away Friday at Iroquois Nursing Home. Nan was born in Syracuse, the daughter of Carmelo and Santina Farsaci. She worked as an accountant most of her life at A.R. Pullano CPA before retiring in 1991 from Hobart Corporation.
Nan grew up in Syracuse, married her husband Thomas Pollicino and raised her family on the North Side of Syracuse. She was an avid bowler and golfer. Later in life she moved to Cobb Hill Road in Cazenovia where she built her dream home. She loved spending her time in Cazenovia with her friends. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her husband Thomas in 1989, her brother Leo Farsaci and her sister Stella Bufano.
Surviving are her son Jack Pollicino of North Syracuse, her 2 daughters: Marlene (Pollicino) Wilson of Solvay and Lea Pollicino of Massachusetts; 8 grandchildren: Steven Kuss of Liverpool, Danielle Pollicino of Syracuse, Andrea Raymond of Solvay, Nick Pollicino of Charlotte, NC, Shawn Johnston of Solvay, Lauren Pollicino of North Syracuse, Michael Schmid of Liverpool, and Jacqueline Schmid of Warners; 15 Great Grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Nan's family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the 3rd floor staff at Iroquois Nursing Home for their loving care during her stay there.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of her family.
