Pa Yang's Obituary
Pa Yang, 92 years old, passed away on Tuesday, June 4th, 2019, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Laos, where she met and married her loving husband, Fai Dang Lee. In 1976, along with their children, they immigrated to the United States. They landed in Gloucester, MA and later moved to Syracuse, NY. In Syracuse, Pa worked as a housekeeper at James Square Nursing Home until she retired.
Pa was predeceased by her husband and her daughter, Cathy. Surviving are her children, Kao (Bao), Kia (Kou), Lo (Tom), Xia (Derrick), Doua (Sue) and Ying, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
Services will be done according to the Hmong traditional ceremonies at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY on June 22nd and 23rd with burial on Monday, June 24th. She will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband at Woodlawn Cemetery.
